Australian Removal Quality System

· This system has been developed to regulate the quality of our removals to ensure the highest possible standard of service is performed on every removal. · All of our removalists must perform to this high standard to be able to work for Cheap Moves. · Our removalists are regularly audited by the Operations Manager and reviewed by our customers using our feedback form after every removal. · If there is any issue on the day of the removal that cannot be resolved by the driver, our customers can phone our Operations Manager direct and have the issue resolved immediately. · This is a genuine quality control initiative and unlike other quality assurance brands in the industry, this is not designed to be a marketing tool, it’s the real deal, and it is not for sale to any other removal companies. We encourage our customers not to assume all removal companies are the same, because they are not. If you choose to use us, you can expect the following on your removal day:

Equipment   Use of specialist equipment for heavier items to avoid unnecessary risk of damage: · Fridge Trolley · Piano/cupboard trolley · Lifting belts · Felt padded blankets · Tie down ropes · Tools to dismantle & re-assemble furniture   Transport   The driver is experienced in professionally packing a removalist truck: · Stack furniture in truck using padded blankets to prevent scratching & denting · Tie down furniture to prevent movement in truck · Driver in charge of packing & unpacking of truck to reduce risk of damage · Careful driving of truck to reduce movement of furniture · For local moves, if the truck provided is not large enough to fit all furniture in one trip, the extra travel time required for the second trip is free of charge · Truck is clean and well maintained   Code of ethics   The driver is responsible for his team to perform your removal ethically: · Explain the removal contract at the start of the move and have the customer sign the contract so the customer is aware of Cheap Moves’ obligations and the customers obligations · Only charge a flat total of 20 minutes depot to depot travel time · Work time efficiently to keep the cost of the removal low · Accept assistance from the customer if it is safe to do so · Re-assemble all furniture that was dissembled at the pick up address · Connect washing to taps and drain · Courteous & considerate of the customers needs · Obliging to do whatever it takes to complete the removal, as long as it is safe · Not take any detours during travel between houses · Not charge for time during lunch break · Calculate final time in increments of 15 minutes · Must provide a tax receipt on payment · Any damages of furniture to be reported to the Operations Manager on the day of the incident, the Operations Manager will then investigate the cause and take appropriate action
